In An Instant

In an Instant: A Family's Journey of Love and Healing Last week I went to hear Lee Woodruff give a talk about her experience overcoming her husband Bob's devastating injury in Iraq.
She is obviously a women of great strength and faith.
Her talk had no signs of bitterness or hate in it. And she told some very sad stories of other wounded Iraq vets that she and Bob had met during is recovery.
Bob was in a coma for 31 days and then suddenly regained consciousness. All the doctors agreed that this was somewhat of a miracle and not was they expected to happen.
I suggest reading this book for it's uplifting message.
At the end of Lee's talk, she took questions. A women asked "what lesson have your learned from your ordeal?" Lee's answer....."Leave the dishes in the sink". My philosophy for years!!!!
